After a bit of a struggle with getting this thing started, I am happy to say that I am now part of the nail blogger world! I have been collecting all things nails for a few years now, and have always relied on some of the most popular blogger ladies and their reviews to figure out which polishes I "need" to add to my nicely sized collection ;)
Those who know me well know that I not only love regular polish; I am also a HUGE fan of nail polish strips. I have used polish strips multiple times from different brands, and I just so happen to love every kind that I've used so far. A few weeks ago, a nail polish buddy of mine sent me a pack of nail polish appliques ("apps") from a company called Incoco she had received in one of her monthly beauty box subscriptions and knew they would be put in good use from my end. This was my first time using Incoco apps, and I was absolutely pleased with them. I knew I had to get my hands on some more sets from them, and here I am with one of their Halloween designs from last year's collection called "Mischief Night"!
My family and I have never been big on Halloween ... It's just another regular day for us. Despite this, I at least wanted to get into the spirit by doing my nails up. "Mischief Night" gives my nails the perfect decoration for Halloween, with adorable jack o lantern pumpkin faces and orange and black glitter. I've had these on since Saturday, and have received many compliments on them! ;) Here are what my nails look like with them on, in different lighting...
Have you ever gotten that "tip wear" look from filing off the excess polish strips from your nails after applying them? Well, it drives me insane sometimes, so I decided to take a Sally Girl black polish to touch up the edges. Here's what they looked like right after I did so below.
And... Just because I absolutely loved my first set of Incoco strips sent to me from a friend, here is a pic of them from when I wore them for a trip to Disney's Animal Kingdom a few weeks ago. The leopard spot design is called "Femme Fatale".
Well, you guys...I did it! My first post as a nail blogger is here, and I'm so happy about it. I'm starting to get the hang of this Blogger thing, and I'm already thinking about my next post. If you're interested in getting to know the Incoco brand, head on over to their website and take a look at all of their awesome designs! TTYL polish lovers! ;) - Tiffany C
