Hello!
I hope you all had a great weekend. I have a new mani to show you today, with my absolute favorite animal print of all time. For those that know me well, you know how obsessed I am with Leopard-print. The Leopard is my favorite animal, followed by Tigers, and Giraffes :) LOL. Here is my manicure using China Glaze nail polish appliques in "Ferr-ocious" print.
What do you think? In my opinion, animal print will never get old. I will rock Leopard, Tiger, or Giraffe nails no matter what time of the year it is. If you have a Sally's store near you, you may be able to find these appliques there. I am not sure if China Glaze will continue to make these, which may explain why they would be in the marked-down section of the store. You can also find these online at Amazon. Have you used these before? What's your favorite type of design? See you next time :)

Minx "Silver Moons" pedi
Hi everyone,
Today I have a quick pedicure post for ya. I hope you don't mind a footsie post because my fingernails are not in the best shape right now. The other day, I cut my nails way too short... too short for me to want to post anything for all of you to see. I did post my mint tribute mani for Talia Joy the other day, which was a Ruffian style that I feel made my nails look longer than they actually are. There's something about the ring around your cuticles in a different color from the rest of the nail that seems to create more "length". I painted my nails again as a regular mani, but I just don't feel good about it. Anyways, it will probably be a few days before my next mani post. In the mean time I went to Ulta yesterday, and found a whole bunch of goodies on clearance; including Minx nail foils. One of the designs I got is "Silver Moons".
Here's my haul, and what the Minx packages look like. Each pack includes a manicure set and a pedicure set. Despite the $4.99 tag, they rang up as only $.99! Can you say "Score"? I LOVE it when that happens. :) |
I just love how easy it is to get the metallic look on your nails with these. They also turn heads when you walk by non nail enthusiasts. I've worn Minx pedicure sets in other designs before, and they were definitely a hit. Also, because I'm a tap dancer and runner, these last on my toes much longer than regular polish does. I always keep backups of these for when a tap festival or intensive comes up, or if I just don't feel like changing up my pedi so often. If you have an Ulta store near you, and want to try these out, then I would go check it out to see if they have them in their sale section. If you're interested in other Minx designs, check out their "Tasting Room" at MinxNails.com. Are you liking my metallic pedi here? These are surely holding me over until my nubby fingernails grow back out! TTYL!

Sally Hansen InstaGel Strips in "Deco-Great"
Hi!
I feel like I haven't posted in such a long time, but it really has been only a week. If you follow me on Facebook, you know that I saw Beyonce in concert last Wednesday here in Miami, and she was absolutely amazing! I wasn't expecting anything less from a performer like her, but there was something about seeing her live that just makes her so much more incredible. It took me a little while to realize that I had just seen Beyonce LIVE... LOL. Maybe that's why I feel like it's been forever since I've posted. Ha! Anyways, here's my latest nail look, courtesy of some Sally Hansen InstaGel strips in "Deco-Great" for you.
There you have it. Another nail strips mani by yours truly. Are you catching on to the fact that I'm a bit obsessed with these things yet? Ha ;) I've got a whole bunch of them left in my collection to show you, and I honestly can't wait. Every blogger has his or her own thing that makes their blog stand out, and nail polish strips are my thing. You can get these at CVS, Walgreens, and Target. How do you like this design? I love the geometric shapes against the nude background. I would say these are fashionable and super appropriate for work. See you next time :)

Jindie Nails "Rave"
Hi guys!
I am quite excited about this post I have for you today. I am a huge fan of Jindie Nails nail polish, and today I have the very popular "Rave" for you to look at. This polish is a combination of different sizes and colors of glitters (including neon) in a milky white base. In the photos below, you will see two coats of "Rave" over one coat of a white creme polish. Here are the pics!
Doesn't this polish just scream fun? I have about a handful of Jindie polishes in my collection, and I must say that they are standouts among all of the indies I own. You can purchase Jindie's directly from Jindie.com and from Llarowe. Do any of you own any Jindie polishes yet? What do you think about this one? I am definitely a fan, and looking forward to some new combinations coming out soon! See ya next time :)

Fourth of July-inspired mani with Jindie-Pendence and True Azul
Hello, everyone!
Today I have a quick post featuring my 4th of July nails. A few weeks ago, I was able to get the highly sought after and limited-edition "Jindie-Pendence" from Jindie Nails. This polish is just too adorable. I decided to pair it up with "True Azul" by Nuance from Salma Hayek (Available at CVS). Check out the pics below to see how it came out!
In all, I love how this mani turned out. Jindie-Pendence is one of the most adorable and fun combinations of patriotic-colored glitters out there! I think "True Azul" goes great with it, and even matches the blue glitters a whole lot better than I was expecting. I am honestly really looking forward to seeing everyone's 4th of July mani's this year! This was my first one as a blogger, and it was really fun putting this one together. I hope you guys enjoyed this post, and that you have a great 4th of July with your friends and fam! See ya next time :)

I layered two coats with some "placement" of the glitters over a white creme to preserve my bottle as much as possible. |
I can't remember how many bottles of Jindie-Pendence were available, but I snagged bottle #89! I love how every bottle is numbered so you know exactly which one you got! So cute. |

China Glaze Nail Polish Appliques in "Cherry Blossom"
Hi there!
I have a new post for you today. I was in the mood for another nail polish appliques mani, so I searched through my collection of them and remembered I had this cherry blossom design from China Glaze that I hadn't used. The first thing I thought to myself after putting them on was "Why did I wait so long to wear these?"! I mean, the design is so fancy and I love the contrast between the red blossoms and the creamy white background. Not to mention I also got quite a few compliments on these. Anyways...on to the pics!
These are still available at some beauty supply stores and on Amazon. I first came across them at Sally's, and I haven't seen them at any of their stores recently. I suppose they will be in the marked-down section soon. China Glaze's appliques are one of my favorite kinds that are made out of real nail polish. Their strips are nice and thick, which I feel makes it much easier to reapply if you weren't able to fix one on your nail correctly the first time. I'm kind of kicking myself for not buying a backup set of this design because the one person selling them on Amazon is selling them for a ridiculous price. Hopefully they'll pop back up at Sally's sooner than later so that I can stock up on this one, and the other designs like "Beyond Baroque" and "Jane loves Tarzan", which I loved. I am also keeping my fingers crossed that China Glaze will come out with some new designs in the future. We shall see. What do you think about my cherry blossom nails? Do you love them as much as I do? I'll see you next time for a Fourth of July post!
