Hi, readers!
I'm really excited about this somewhat experimental look I have for you today. A few days ago, I received my April Monthly Mani Box from Scratch, and I must say that this one has to be one of my favorites so far (I may have said that in a previous post about Scratch, but let's just say that they topped my last one!). This month the company teamed up with Trish and Maureen of Domestic Construction to put together three amazingly cool looks, along with some very useful extras! Among those extras are three mini bottles of nail polish from Color Club, and I decided to see what would happen if I created a look using all three of them with the "Stone" nail wraps on top. Take a look at the pics below to see how it came out!
I had originally wanted to have the polish colors in a gradient, but I wasn't liking how it was looking. What you see is two coats of the off-white color, with the orange and green sponged on with a make-up sponge to create more of an abstract look. Once all of the polish dried (it's very important to let any polish completely dry before layering anything on top), I applied the nail wraps as I normally would, and followed up with top coat for good measure. I have to say that even though it wasn't what I had first thought up, I ended up really liking it, and here I am on day three of wear, not being able to look away from my nails. Another job well done, Scratch team!
Check out Scratch to find out more about Domestic Construction, and how to become an MMB subscriber and buy individual wraps. What do you think about this mani? Where would you wear this kind of look to? See ya next time, and I hope you enjoyed today's post!
