My first Polish My Life Lacquers!

Hello, everyone! I hope you have a great start to your week! I am glad that I was able to get in another quick post before my week gets too hectic.

A few weeks ago, I ordered my first couple of nail polishes from indie maker, Shaneka, of Polish My Life. She specializes in creating creme polishes that go on nice and easy, and the ones you'll see in the pics below definitely did! Here are "Big Apple Sunset" and "Good Morningside".

"Big Apple Sunset"  (accented with Ulta "After Party") is my favorite of the two. This has to be one of the squishiest red polishes I have in my stash, and I don't know any nail polish enthusiast who doesn't love a juicy, almost jelly-like finish on the nail after just two coats. I loved "Good Morningside" too, but I have to admit that I am not the best at painting my nails with yellow polishes...I'm not good at photographing them either...lol. I saw that another nail blogger (can't remember the name) was able to get this one on perfect in two coats, so I was super excited to give this one a try. For me, three coats was better (though not difficult); along with a little accent of a glitter from The New Black's "Bottle Rocket" trio, to distract the eye from my imperfections. Still, I got quite a few compliments while wearing both PML polishes, and one person even asked if she could borrow "Goodmorningside"!

Overall, my first experience with Polish My Life was great. I am already looking forward to adding more of Shaneka's polishes to my stash. It was nice to see an indie maker who focuses on cremes, when most indies out there are glitter-packed. These polishes were a nice little change for me. So, what do you think? Have you checked out the link to PML above to see all of the colors available? See ya next time!
